Weather report I’ve never seen before

Last night I got to see a small punk concert in Beijing. I’m not a big punk fan, but it was a lot of fun and I enjoyed the bands and the atmosphere. Leaving the club I experienced my first Beijing sandstorm. Nothing exciting really. It was just strong winds with sand blowing in your eyes, mouth, hair, etc. I’ve heard a lot about them, but we haven’t had anything like that in Tianjin.

I think the sandstorm in Beijing is much worse than ever before. According the news agency, few Chinese travellors decide to travel to Beijing in this May Labor’s Day.
And it is my first time to visit your blog. I think your blog is very wonderful, and I know another Beijing from your perspective ^-^

Worse than before? I’ve heard many stories about trees being planted to make the sandstorms smaller. I’m surprised you think this year the storm has been stronger. It’s also interesting that sand storms remind you of home, Lev.
Thanks for visiting Tony! I’m happy to have your comments. I’m very thankful to have the chance to live in China and learn more about people and culture.
