Ben and Julia

Tonight at a barbeque I met the fabulous and interesting duo of Ben and Julia who are preparing to teach English in Japan for a year, if I remember correctly, and then will spend some time in Angola

I swear that no one goes abroad until you do it, and then it’s as if everyone you know is going somewhere. Isn’t there a term for this? (RA, I’m looking in your direction here)

    Wow Justin, you flatter us! But it’s true, once you have intrest in something, you find a community doing something similar. How’s it going in China? We are finding Japan beautiful but HOT.

    I’m still preparing to fly out on 24 AUG 2005, so I haven’t left yet. If the weather widget on my homepage is any indication, it’s going to be hot and humid where I’ll be living too. Hopefully we’ll all have another BBQ next year and can trade pictures and stories.
