No more all-nighters
That’s it! Tomorrow is the last day of regular classes, and then freedom!… for a couple days anyway. I’m going to take 2 political science classes in the first section of summer semester, so I’ll only have about a week before classes start again. Taking classes only in the first section of summer will give me July and August to chill out and prepare myself for my coming year in China. I had originally planned to take courses throughout summer, but I realized that it would interfere with my ability to perform as the master of ceremonies at my best friend’s wedding in July. My familiarity with wedding traditions is not very strong, so I purchased a great book to help me out. I’m so excited for the lucky couple!
I’ll have to move again at the end of the month; if only I had somewhere to go. I’m still trying to sell almost everything I own, and I’ll ship one or two things to my brother in Halifax. Other than that, I’ve really been becoming one with Zen concept of wanting nothing… except that I really want a lot of stuff, but I will have nothing. (sic.) lol
Since Tina and I separated in January, life has been hectic, but good. I’m glad we could rationally come to the realization that we were not meant for each other — that what we want in life is very different — and that we could separate without malice.
It seems this year a year of intense change in my life. Change is good.
