Snow!?

At this time of year I expect to see leaves falling from Maple trees. This last week I’ve watched as the TRU groundskeepers have been raking up pine needles around the campus. But for new Kamloops experiences, today takes the cake.

It’s raining outside our house, but if you go uphill just a bit, you will find 5 cm (~2 inches) of snow. The elevation of Kamloops is 345 m (1,131 feet), so it’s easy to understand why snow is more likely in Kamloops than Vancouver.
